FAQ

What is your turnaround time for photos?

Depending on the shoot you can expect your photos back within 3-4 weeks after our session. Weddings typically take 8-12 weeks.

Are pets allowed?

YES! All animals are welcome! I’ve worked with everything from cats and dogs to horses, cattle and even a snake. They are family too so bring them along!

Should I bring more than one outfit?

Yes!! I recommend if you are booking a Boudoir shoot to bring 3+ outfits. We may not use them all but I can help you choose which ones would look best for our shoot. If you are booking a couples session I also recommend 1 or 2 outfit changes so you have some more variety of looks to choose from when you get your photos back.

Do you accept tips?

Yes, but they are not necessary or expected. I have received tips of all sorts in the past and they usually make me cry happy tears because it just shows that client had a great experience which makes my heart so happy! The absolute best form of tipping would be to leave me a review, I love hearing about how your experience was working with me and what you thought of your images. I also except goodies such as baked goods, left over wedding flowers, Starbucks gift cards, a "Thank you" card, etc. If you ask my husband he would tell you that its always the little things that mean the most to me!

How long have you been a Photographer for?

My passion for photography started at a young age, I remember taking my parents camera out to my grandparents farm and capturing fields, tractors, old gas cans, etc. Side note I even took a photo of raindrops on a window and my grandparents still have it hanging in their house to this day. Later in life I joined yearbook in Junior High and High School for a total of 5 years and loved being able to capture memories for kids to look back on one day. Shortly after graduating I decided to turn my passion into a career, because what better way to earn a living then by doing what you love, right?? I have now been taking photos professionally for over 7 years now.

Do you travel?

I sure do! Mountains, cities, countryside, beaches, you name it! I do charge a travel fee. Accommodations, flights and car rentals may be required depending on the location. Fun fact: I have tonnes of bucket list locations that I will shoot at for free if you bring me there! For example... Hawaii, Ireland, Iceland, and even our very own Newfoundland and Labrador.

What time of day is best for outdoor sessions?

I would say the "Golden Hour" is the best part of the day to shoot and my personal favourite. If we are expecting an overcast day then typically anytime in the afternoon is really nice for some moodier vibes. If you know me you know I hated working in harsh sunlight. But that's also why I like to have one outdoor session booked for the whole day so we have wiggle room to work with the sun and weather in general that day. I want to make sure my clients get the best results when they receive their images.
